Sean Price Williams is an American cinematographer and director based in New York. He began his career in the early 2000s within the independent film scene, developing a distinctive, energetic visual style on 16mm and 35mm film.
He has shaped the look of acclaimed projects with the Safdie Brothers, Alex Ross Perry and Ronald Bronstein, contributing to films such as Heaven Knows What, Good Time and Her Smell. In 2023, his first feature as a director, The Sweet East, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival.
Alongside his film work, he has directed music videos and collaborated with artists, musicians and fashion figures, continuing to expand his practice across documentary, fiction and experimental projects.
