Mathieu Rathery is a French director and screenwriter. After studying anthropology, he joined the Mauvais Sang collective and then co-founded Premier Cri, he later graduated from la Fémis in screenwriting.
Mathieu writes feature films for various directors, such as Larry Clark. He has directed short films which have been screened and awarded at festivals in France and internationally. He is currently developing his first feature film “Le Domaine des Ogres”. His films, through genre cinema, explore the margins of society and the people who inhabit them.
