Of Franco-Chilean origin, Anaïs-Tohé Commaret is a french director based in Paris. She explores the sensory potential of the film medium, and her work is defined by a constant back-and-forth between fiction and documentary. Her short film "8" was selected in the Short Film category at the Berlinale 2023. In June 2022, Anaïs-Tohé Commaret won the Jury's Special Prize awarded by MacVal, Le Palais de Tokyo, and Lafayette Anticipations at the Salon of Contemporary Arts in Montrouge.
Her ethereal and phantasmagoric universe stems from a fascination with characters she defines as anti-heroes/ghosts, beings that wander in between intervals, seeking a place to feel at ease.
